Data We Process
- Tool inputs that ChatGPT sends to the MCP server, such as a public-government question, dataset id, jurisdiction, limit, date range, or selected public columns.
- Public government data fetched from sources such as data.texas.gov, data.austintexas.gov, and official Texas or Austin government pages.
- Standard hosting and security logs may include request metadata such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and requested path.
Data We Do Not Need
Do not send Social Security numbers, payment data, account passwords, API keys, MFA codes, precise home addresses, medical details, or other sensitive personal data. The app is not designed to collect or process those categories.
How We Use Data
- Answer Texas and Austin public-data, permit-starting-point, license, service, and governance questions.
- Fetch bounded read-only rows from public Socrata datasets when the user asks for public examples.
- Maintain public Austin dataset-health reports and service reliability.
- Diagnose uptime, abuse, or security issues for the public MCP endpoint.
Sharing and Recipients
The app returns results inside ChatGPT. It may query public government data APIs and official public pages to answer the user's request. It does not sell personal data, serve ads, submit forms, send messages, or modify government systems.
Retention
The application database stores public catalog snapshots, public report outputs, and derived quality analysis. It is not designed to store user profiles or private user records. Hosting logs are used for operations and security and may be rotated or deleted during normal maintenance.
User Controls
- Disconnect the app in ChatGPT settings if you do not want ChatGPT to call this MCP server.
